This is where I went throughout a portion of a pm sheet from the DOT. I walked through some operational controls, exterior, and tires and wheels. The pictures are of some of those things including the dash light and gauges, the tread and valuable stem and last a body panel with paint damage.
As in was looking through 'll the criteria for a complete inspection I noticed it's very in depth and can be field specific. I think about what I should be looking at before I go on deliveries with the work truck. Not just check the oil but look at some suspension components and to look at my tires. I should absorb as much as I can about the truck so I can better keep it on the road.
I really would lime to see these being used on our rental equipment at the shop and keep record of it every time it goes in and out. I bet that even just the small dents and scratches being charges to a customer would make up for anytime "lost" in the process.
