Nov 13th "Dodge"

So today i worked on the dodge. looking up the intake heaters and fuel control and using the scan tool on the truck itself.
The FCA is the fuel control actuator. it controls the pressure of the fuel to atomize the fuel. The minimum psi it can run at is 9.5psi below that the warning comes on. There are two intake heaters, each heater gets 95 amps at 12 volts to heat.
On the Dodge The codes for inj. 1-6 were on that they aren't working properly. Also the code for the intake heaters was on.
Turning the wipers and horn on were under the Body(fcm) section.
It was actually a lot of fun to work with the scan tool to do those things. really amazing how much you can get to on the vehicle from the computer even in a 2003. I learned that with the right tools and in the right situation you don't have to open the hood and get led astray to diagnose the problem.
