First we get the wheel off fast with the impact gun. Remove the wheel.
Next take off the drum. Inspect the brake pads and the inside of the drum.
Take off th axle end cap.
Pull out the pin or lock washer and nut and take bearing out with wheel hub.
Inspect the wheels seal and remove if damaged.
If you remove wheel seal check bearing and bearing race for wear.
Inspecting....
Take off the brake pads to be replaced etc..
we removed the s-cam and inspected it.
Neat and tighty!
Driving the new seal.
We put the s cam and shoes back on. to check the s-cam you measure end play and the vertical play and they must be under 30 thousandths.
the wheel bearing setting goes as this. torque to 200ft lbs back off a full turn torque again to 50 ftlbs the depending on the wheel end back off betweem 1/2 and 1/6 turn. the end play for the bearing adjustment is between 1 and 5 thousandths.
Replace the axle cap and torque to a general torque by bolt situation. then replace the drum and wheel and torque wheel lug nuts to between 300 an 500 ft lbs

Good, just think if you showed this to someone at a truck shop. They would know that you have done this and understand it. Well done and documented.
