This week was alot of self assigned tasks. if i satay moving and there i not alot going i just get left alone and i can get stuff that i think should get done done. It has been slow at the show lately but it comes in surges. Ill be busy for 3 day and then have one just dead day. But im learning to find things to do and having the confidence that i can do them and not be in trouble or something.
This week i got to do a full service on a m9540 Kubota and it was fun. its alot to handle and try to do fast and efficiently. for me its very easy to not set things up right and end up wasting alot of time. But im starting to like figuring things out for myself. allbeit small projects but an rtv comes in with a list of things to fix and i just get to start doing them i dont have to wait aound to be told step by step instructions of how the boss wants it done. On the 9540 i learned to always recheck all your fluids. I drained the front axle and the front hubs and refilled them. Some oe else got put on it the next day beffore i could get back to it and check all my fluids and they had to add about what i had put in the first day in the axle and hubs to get them to the right spot but its just a reminder to never let it leave without checking twice.

Feb 17th " ahead of myself"
So this week i had two days off for a funeral and personal things so it was hard to actually get on a project becuse of time constraints. But i did get to workon a small b2550 on the injection pump and adjusting the throttle linkage. The reason i titled it ahead of myself is because the linkage adjustment i was going for a spent about half an hour pulling panels around he dash to find out the only way to adjust it was through the hole for the throttle lever itself so i essentially wasted all that time. But you have to learn from these things and its tough to slow down when you want to impress but i know i need to be more logical about these things. And the pump i worked on was a pretty simple change of orings and washer seal on the outgoing pump lines.

Jan 12th "more small things"
This week i learned about a few smaller things to help finish the big picture. I learned thTon some jcb equipment there is a ground wire coming off the starter. no i did not hook up to the wrong wire i got close but didnt. im so used to there only being one i never took a second thought. I know now i need to observe more before i procede with even small things like jump starting a dead tractor.
Im learning to be a good delivery guy even when im nof sent with the proper info. telling a customer all the details ins and outs of the machine on the fly. and always take extra keys and books always.
those a two things i learned this week at scholtens and things are going well. i am currently waiting to dig into a fuel pump to replaced o-rings

This week was alot of the usual. But a couple cool things happened. First i got to go down to Portland on thirsday to the ag show but only saw a couple things because everything was getting takin out and i had a purpose! I was thereto drive a new fast track homewith a claas bailer behind it. This thing is amazing it goes 45 Mph. and i drove it all the way from Potland to Burlington on the freeway.I guess i learned a bit at the show but more of the system for the JCB Fastrac. it had a drive mode like a car or you can paddle shift or run a power percentage. Its some very amazing tech in this thing with 4 wheel disc brake that make a trucks brakes look small.
