Jan 27th "washing and learning about JCB"

     This week was alot of washing and painting. Being outside in the rain and cold with wet feet. Im putting in my dues. We got in a couple new John Deeres and i did alot of painting on the wheels.
I did get to work on a JCB at the end of the week replacing u-joints.  as you will see by the pictures i put in the new u-joints but also found that the yoke on the rear axle had a chunk takin out of it. so i reported back and were getting a new yoke, nut, washer and seal for the rear axle. Im learning about different machine and how there systems work and on friday i learned a new way to mount a drive shaft on a jcb 416.

Jan 21st "volvo and being sick"

I was sick two days last week so i didnt get to do too much. Still learning to find some places that we take our parts too. Some of the bigger things are little things to do and keep track of while your working. things my boss like to keep organized and in place. and learned about the volvo system. how they are making it almost impossible to have a rear end accident.

Jan 13th "cleaning"

    This week i did alot of pressure washing outside. i was even out at times of rain and snow. but one thing i did learn and would like to be better about is how thorough i am when cleaning. this skill i believe applys to everything else. IIf I can be thorough in cleaning i think it could help me be thorough when im fixing other things.
    This week i did do alot of smaller tasks like washing things up for other people to work on but from that i absorb lots of inormation about the machines. i get to see everything and find out where stuff is. i believe that these are all neccessary steps to being a good mechanic.
    Oneof the best parts of work this week was the very late Christmas party. it was great becuse i got to see the dynamics of the company and who we really are and i love what i see. all i could say is its a good place to be.

Jan 5th "Going Back to School"

    I have been working at the new place for a while now. I really like the new place and I am getting to do alot more hands on learning. I split the b7500 Kubota and replaced the hydrastat and rewired headlights. That being my first split I learned so much about organization and how to remember where everything goes when going back together.

    This week I made two big deliveries one was after hours to oak harbor and the other was to Lopez Island. I feel like i learned how to stay calm under pressure. I had to go to an island in the dark that i had not been to in ten years. I really feel like i get more comfortable in difficult situations that I have the knowledge to figure it out.
