Man time flies. I have been doing so many cool things! I helped finished the first Kuhn tiller with the radiators to cool the oil. I have started working on the second one and might even get to lead the projects a bit more. I have helped other mechanics tear into things and have learned a ton. Im in the process of learning how to preload bearings. I have read up on the procedure now i just need to watch it be done and then help and get a feel for it. Im running forklifts unloading trucks, fixing flat tires on random guys coming in just to pick up a forklift. A cool projects i have been doing on the side is makeing the mounts for the vice on the back of a van truck and most rercently making the same application for a hose press. Some small things i have been picking up on but dont think about very often are... learning how to crimp my own hose fittings with the hydraulic press. I also learned how to press on hose fittings for other applications such as low pressure oil.
Learning all the right times to ask questions, who to ask what question, where things are for everyday use, all of these things im still picking up on. One really cool thing that i have experianced a bit is just the fact that guys will ask me to help them. Hopefully that means it will help them speed up whatever it is there doing and also when i am helping them they are very eager to teach me all the tricks. I really love all of it and im having the time of my life. So much fun that i forget im even in school and im supposed to post on my blog...
Thats all the recent updates i can think of at work. But everything is going great and everyday i learn ten new things.

I did all the welding on this job and am still learning welding so I had to grind them smooth but im getting alot of practice. also i am hoping to start getting some more hours and being paired with mechanics to help on jobs and learn.

Feb 13th Busy busy busy
I have been getting to do ALOT of fabricating in the shop lately. Im starting to get alot more responsibility for things to do task to finish. My plate is definitely full for now. I have almost completely replumbed the 2 50gallon oil drums for the new electric pumps with metering guns. Also i have been running errands like picking things up for people and dropping stuff off getting to know all the places we do business. Its getting exciting and interesting and i cant wait to see whats next!

We got our new Electric oil pumps that im installing in place of the pnuematic ones I installed about a month ago. Just alot of little things on my way to becoming well rounded. I hope to be able to handle anything!
