Jan 28th "Been Lazy"

Alright so lately i have been super lazy about reporting my info and my daily do's sorry.
But here we go the past week 23-27 I did some fun stuff and some not so fun stuff but i have really been learning alot from my job. Even if its know where stuff is in the shop or know when to just stop and ask for help! I have pressure washed some vehicles done alot of cleaning, i put together and tried to put togethere some machinery for the sales department and done some welding. the best part so far was the welding becuase its mostly new to me and fun to actually put something together that someone else is going to use later. so here are some pictures but not as much as id like to include.

These are plumbings that ive done.

Also some welding, cutting and tearing apert ive done.

Jan 13th "wrapping it up"

All i did this morning was wrap up some projects that i started earlier this week. Then after lunch i started putting together some equipment from the lot. At the end of the day i started helping with a flail chopper, pulling it apart to get to a blown out panel.
Just starting to get into the groove of things, having projects to finish and fitting in with the mechanics.

Jan 12th "Plumbing"

Im finally punching in on work orders so we can keep track of what im doing and if im helping the compnay. I finished installing the pneumatic pumps from yesterday and labeled them for hytrans and 15-40w. Then boss sent me on a mission to plumb in an extra lina off the fill tank to fill our 50 gallon barrels faster, which took me the rest of the day and an extra hour even.
What i take home for today is no matter what it is you cant just stop when its time to go home. get to a safe and careful place to stop before you go home.

Jan 11th Dues

Clean Clean Clean. Cleaned around the shop  oil here metal shavings there. helped chris put back together his split john deere and he helped explain how the gears have to mesh. Tested two small water pumps and tagged one as not running. Right before i left i started mounting pneumatic pumps to 50 gallon drums. One for Hytrans and the other for 15-40 motor oil.
This was a pretty slow day for me but i still had a great time. I reminded myself all day to keep moving becuase when you on the clock you better be doing something worth your wage.

Jan 10th Big first day

Today was definitely a nerv-racking day for me. Not knowing what to expect never wanting to say i could do too much and then eatingmy words but not belittling myself. All in all the first day was amazing and let me know i chose the right place to be.
Starting the day slow with paperwork and going through an orientation. Finally getting into a John Deere 790. We removed the rear wheels and disassembled the rear brakes. Inspecting the brakes finding oil which was causing chattering. i drained the hydralic fluid and put a new filter on. Greased the loader on the 790 and had to pull 4 pins to fix the zirks.
